Bio

Coach Sartori is former college runner at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville and Loyola University – Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Education in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Sartori served as the Men’s and Women’s Volunteer Assistant Track & Field and Cross Country Coach at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 2013 to 2016. He has worked as the Assistant Boys’ Track & Field and Cross Country Coach at Lockport Township High School in Illinois since 2016, and also served as Assistant Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at the College of Dupage.

In his first year as Head Coach of the Roadrunners, Sartori took two teams of all freshmen into the 2021 season - the first in over 25 years for SMC - and finished fourth in NJCAA Region XII. The men's team finished 23rd at the 2021 Nationals in Richmond, Virginia, and the women finished 22nd. In 2022, the Roadrunners men's team again took fourth in Region XII and 16th at the National Championships in Tallahassee, while the women moved up to third in Region XII and 13th in the nation.
