Emmy Pritchard Steps Up for the Roadrunners
Emmy Pritchard, a 2024 graduate of Centreville High School and current SMC student, has signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to run cross country for Head Coach Zac Sartori and the Roadrunners starting in Fall 2025. Pritchard will also compete in track and field for SMC.
Coach Alecia Miller of Centreville enthused, "Emmy is an outstanding individual and athlete. She has provided great leadership for our team and the younger athletes coming up in the program. She offers them guidance and teaches them the basics of how to be responsible and respectful. This kind of leadership can be hard to find at times, but I know that I can always count on Emmy to do the right thing."
Sartori added, "I'm so excited that we finally got Emmy to commit. We had hoped she would join us last school year, but she just wasn't ready at the time. She is now, she's working hard and I can't wait to see what she can do for us next year."
Pritchard is the sixth member of SMC's 2025 Women's Cross Country recruiting class, joining Gabby Wisdom of Watervliet, Zoie Wood of Gobles, Trinity Mortimore of Decatur, Emily King of Martin and Lillian Wolf of Hartford.
