SMC Women Finish #12 at Nationals

The SMC Women's Cross Country team finished #12 in the NJCAA National Championship race in Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday, led by Allison Lauri in 75th place with a time of 20:41.4, Morgan Pieczynski in 78th at 20:48.9 and Kierstyn Thompson in 99th with 21:07.7.
 
Taylor Meier finished #113 with 21:31.5, Esther Lopez was #132 at 22:16.9, Tori Yates came in #139 with 22:21.9 and Madison Siergiej finished #189 at 23:21.4.
 
The Roadrunners were ranked in the Top 20 in NJCAA Division II all season and were runners-up in Region XII, the largest region in the country, entering the national race ranked #11.
