Women's CC Second at Charger Invitational

At the Marian Ancilla Charger Invitational today, the SMC Women's Cross Country Team finished SECOND of 10 teams with 707 points, behind only St. Clair County with 48 and ahead of 8 other MCCAA schools, in the official results.
The Roadrunners were led by Kierstyn Thompson in 12th place with a time of 20:42.4, Morgan Pieczynski in 15th with 20:55.8 and Taylor Meier in 19th at 21:25.2.
 
 
The team now has a little under two weeks to prepare for the combined MCCAA Conference and NJCAA Region XII Championships in Byron Center, MI, to earn a trip to the NJCAA National Championships.
