Women's CC Takes 6th at Olivet

The SMC Women's Cross Country Team finished 6th of 9 teams at the University of Olivet Comet Open on Friday, edging rival Lansing by 3 points. 

Unofficial results had the Roadrunners 7th, but after full tabulation, they officially moved up a spot against mostly four-year competition. Hope College won the race with 35, followed by St. Mary's (Ind.) at 79.

The Roadrunners were led by Riley Sinkler in 30th place with a time of 21:13.5 and Kierstyn Thompson in 40th with a time of 21:42. Allison Lauri finished in 47th at 22:03.
