Roadrunners Rake in Conference Awards

In Year 2, the SMC Volleyball Team is proving they can compete with the best. The Roadrunners collected seven MCCAA Conference Awards for their hard work on the court. 

Sophomore Nikki Nate was named to the MCCAA Western Conference 1st Team, the All-MCCAA Team (one of only 15 players from across the state) and was selcted as the MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Year after winning four Player of the Week awards (three Offensive POW and one Defensive POW).

Freshman Josie West was also selected for the MCCAA Western Conference 1st Team and was picked for the All-Freshman Team as well. 

Sophomores Bianca Hobson and Emma Beckman were honored with placement on the MCCAA Western Conference 2nd Team. 

NJCAA all-academic awards will be posted later in the year and we'll hope to see some Roadrunners therem, too!
