SMC Wresting Places Six at Harper Open

The SMC Wrestling Team took 14 grapplers to the Harper Open in Palatine, Illinois, and 6 of them placed, versus a field of 16 other colleges and universities from Kentucky, Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.
 
Jordan Simpson was 2nd in 125, Colby Klinger took 6th in 141, Caleb Ishmael tied for 8th in 149, Hector Garcia placed 6th in 174, Nathan Andrina was 5th in 184 and Shane Edwards took 4th in Heavyweight.
 
Next up is a big one: the MCCAA Individual Meet in Port Huron on Sunday, Janaury 28. The Roadrunners will look to win back-to-back MCCAA Championships as they look to defend their 2023 conference title.
