Cameron Thomas Named NJCAA All-American

Roadrunner sophomore Cameron Thomas has been named an NJCAA All-American

 

Thomas currently holds eighteen SMC women's basketball records. This season, she was twice named MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week and then earned Western Conference Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Western Conference, All-MCCAA, All-NJCAA Region XII, All-Great Lakes District and now 3rd-Team All-American.

 

She is the fifth woman to earn NJCAA All-American status at SMC in basketball, joining Ola Earvin (1993), Beth Blake (1994), Herilanda Thigpen (1994, 1995) and Tracey Rearson (1995, 1996).

 

Thomas will join the NCAA Division 1 Stetson University Hatters, members of the Atlantic Sun Conference, this fall to continue her education and basketball career.
