Women's Basketball Collects Nine Conference Awards

The SMC Women's Basketball Team was well represented in the MCCAA season awards. 

The Roadrunners collected nine awards overall. Sophomores Cameron Thomas and Macey Laubach were named Western Conference Co-Defensive Players of the Year. Amara Palmer was named to the Western Conference All-Freshman Team.

Sophomore Tori Eldridge, despite missing much of the conference season with a leg injury, made enough of an impact early to earn a Western Conference Honorable Mention. 

Sophomore Nalani Williams made the Western Conference Third Team, Laubach and Palmer are on the Western Conference Second Team and Thomas was named to the Western Conference First Team. Thomas also earned a place on the All-MCCAA Team. 

Region XII awards will be announced by the NJCAA at a later date.
