Cameron Thomas is MCCAA POW Again

SMC WBB star Cameron Thomas has won her second MCCAA Player of the Week honor this season.

Thomas, a sophomore from who has committed to continue her academic and basketball career at NCAA Division 1 Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, in the fall, crossed the 1,000 point threshold recently. She scored 23 in the road win at Glen Oaks and 29 more in the home win against Lake Michigan, setting the SMC single-game record for 2-point field goals made with 12. Thomas now has 1,056 career points with the several post-season games to come.
