Beiter and Glick Finish #10 at Heartland

Sophomore Isaiah Beiter and freshman Ethan Glick finished as the top pair for SMC at the Heartland Relays on Friday. The Relays are a unique event where pairs of runners alternate 1-mile loops with each runner completing four total miles.

The duo finished #10 of 31 teams with a combined time of 42:51 for an average mile of 5:21. That finish ranks them #22 all-time in the event. Zach Stearns and John Sanderson finished #20 in 46:55.

Due to the high heat, all of the men's and women's teams started at the same time of 6pm Central. 

The Roadrunners now look towards the Olivet College Comet Open on Friday, September 1.
