Bio

Coach Davis played Division I basketball at the University of Iowa, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He has coached basketball at Drake University, Providence College, Loyola University – Chicago and Chicago State University, and has more than 10 years’ experience in administration at the NJCAA level at Laramie Community College in Wyoming and Kennedy-King College in Illinois.

In his first year as head coach at SMC, the Roadrunners, with an all-freshman team coming back after a 25-year hiatus, finished 15-11, good for third place in the MCCAA and a berth in the postseason.
